Professional school counselors understand the need for all students to attend safe, orderly and caring schools. Through programs and activities, students learn communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills that help them achieve their goals and establish successful relationships. Professional school counselors collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents and the community to deliver programs that encourage student growth and achievement.

 

 

Bullying Report Form

What Parents Can Do- advice to parents about teaching children positive social skills, conflict resolution, and bullying prevention.

Common Sense Media- a resource providing tips to parents and students about social media, internet safety, and the influences of the media on students.

Stop Cyberbullying- helpful information to help parents understand what it, how it works, why it occurs, and steps to prevent CyberBullying.

 Parent-Teen Internet Use Agreement  from  Cyber-Safe Kids, Cyber-Savvy Teens: Helping Young People Learn to Use the Internet Safely and Responsibly ; Nancy E. Willard. An excellent example of how parents and teens can discuss interent usage and safety in a mature manner.
